Okay, another question. Is it possible that the reason for the multiplayer not working for most is because of the buildup of players trying to get in, therefore lagging the server or something?

Funny. I'm saying it has been more difficult to get into MP over the past 3 days, but great job only quoting part of my post out of context. If it were hard for that long I'd consider going to the Doctor.

I wasn't always having problems getting connected for MP but now I am. I have a excellent cable internet connection. Here are the problems I had tonight along

8 restarts in a row to get to my first online match.

I had 5 spawns where I was either under the map or I had only half a reticle and either couldn't move or spun around in circles, 2 more lockouts when it was authenticating and a new one...some wierd friends list error even though I wasn't playing in a private match or with any friends.

I really need some constructive suggestions here. This is driving me crazy and I don't know what to do. I really want to play more and I like the MP when I can get in, but its been harder and harder over the past 3 days.

Unfortunately, all you can do is persevere. This is the most aggravating part of this game, and it has made a lot of people quit already. Some days are just that way. My day like yours was yesterday. It is completely fickle, but try again later at night (specifically later PST) and see if the problem persists. Usually, there will be fewer people and more ease of play.

Authentications and bad spawns are a plague, and I hope that someone is willing enough to look into it and try to find what causes it so that TC2 doesn't turn out the same.

im bout to get the conduit and im a big fan so far but thing can you play 2 players with two wii controlers

No, marksmen. There are too many technical issues that popped up, so we can only hope for split-screen in the next installment.

What is this big second ending I've been hearing about and how do you get it? The ending that I got had Mr. Ford walking through The Conduit, and the credits had Mr. Adams talking to an alien, as it says is the canon ending on Wikipedia. So, did I get the second ending? If I did, how do you get the first ending?

And another question: How do you save your control settings for custom? Every time I set them in MP, they go away when I logout and back in. It is very frustrating.

So, is this thread just not being read, or is there seriously no way to save my multiplayer Custom Controls?

EDIT: Oh, duh. Edit them in the Options accessible from the Main Menu, not the in-game control options...
