Where to buy Sega Genesis Games/Controllers?

The other night while cleaning my basement I found my Sega Genesis and decided to bring it up. Sadly, I found out one of our Sega Genesis controllers no longer work.

I hooked the system up yesterday and have been playing the system nonstop. I am looking to buy more games. Does anyone know where to buy cheap Sega Genesis games? I've tried the Amazon and Sega website, but Amazon wants around $20 for each game, and it looks like Sega.com no longer has the system on their site.

If you have an ebay account they have lots of stuff on there. Sometimes you can get a pretty good deal.

Whats wrong with your Genesis controller? I just bought a repair kit on ebay and got both of my original controllers working like new.

The Best place for any retro games would always be e-bay,you can get good deals if you look hard enough. I got a brand new Sega Gamegear with 6 boxed games+3 loose ones for $75. So the deals are there to be had.

If you don't have an e-bay account your local buysell/classifieds would be a good route as well.

And still Ebay/Paypal accounts are a easy to set up.

http://www.sega-parts.com is Sega's official hardware support site. I imagine you could buy an official Genesis controller there.

If you don't want to deal with online, look around your area for pawn shops, flea markets, and any independent game stores that carry older hardware. Genesis stuff is pretty widely available since it was a relatively popular system back in the day, it shouldn't be to hard to track down games and an extra controller.

The problem with the site is that a grand majority of games and accessories are horribly overpriced.

I'm living in Vietnam. I've asked many shop but no one sells Sega Genesis. They only sell Play Station, Gameboy and Xbox. Where to get it in Vietnam? Can you give me a suggestion
