***Petition to Save the Servers***

Hello everyone,

We regret to inform everyone that the Chromehounds online service will be closing on January 6, 2010. At this time, all online components for Chromehounds will no longer be accessible and the game will only be available for play in Offline modes.

We would like to thank everyone in the Chromehounds community for their passion and support over the past 3 years of service. Please enjoy the remaining time with the game.

Making the game offline-only would kill every amount of value in this game. Along with killing the game completely, it also destroys everything many have put into their squads without flinching. I, myself, have a website that took me quite a lot of hours coding and building, and I really don't want to see all this work go to waste in a matter of months after creation.

So I'm starting a petition. Post your name and gamertag here to sign it off, and hopefully it'll bring some sense into Sega.

Keep the servers running!!!

Guys, if you really want to try to keep the CH Servers alive, you should be signing the petition, instead of using the petition thread as a vent thread.

Remember though, signing is not a guarantee that it will stay alive, but if enough people sign the thread, it might (keyword: might) persuade Sega to come with an alternative. REMEMBER: this is NOT a guarantee. If you guys want it stay alive so bad, you need to make it know by signing the petition.

Still play Chromehounds on a regular basis and wouldn't see the point of playing the game in offline mode at all.

i hope i'm posting in the right place to submit my petition if not plz let me know.

i'm the squad leader of Bat1le Bots and i've played chromehounds since about war #20, it's a great squad game that i play every day, i also have 19 members who also play on a daily basis. i had my account glitched as did many other people and lost at that point over 1500 hours of game play since then i have currently got over 1700 hours game play logged and the majority of my squad are the same, and i know there are many squads out there that are the same. i can only hope that sega makes a u turn on this annoucement and keeps the servers running for chromehounds not only for myself but for the many other people that still love to play this game, i also hope sega takes into account the fact that not everybody that plays chromehounds are registered on this forum and are unable to voice their opionions, so here is my vote and also the vote of 18 of my squad members.

lets just hope sega see's sense and keeps a quality game running.

My squad and I still play regular also...For us this is the only true team game as we have 6 man matches and a true squad lobby. If more online games (Halo, GOW, COD) had a true squad lobbies then they would be more interesting to us. The fact we can get in our lobby and talk tactics and execute them makes this game very appealing to us and has kept us playing for the last 3 years. Please keep this high quality game open.
