How do the battles work? Sorry if it's kinda a stupid question XD but I've been wondering.

Also, hmm. Is there a lot of exploring or what are the towns like?

Battles are similar to a traditional turn-based RPG, but there's a bar with character faces at the bottom left that will let you know who gets to attack and when. One character can attack or use a skill at a time, and who gets to go first is determined by their speed. There is an element of strategy in working to take out monsters who will be attacking in between your characters, so you can close the gap and take out your enemies while also keeping your team healthy and standing.

You can be ambushed, or likewise, get the first attack, which will let you get a full drop on the monsters, or let them get the first swing at you. (This will only happen in random battles.)

There are towns you can explore and also dungeons to crawl around, which have random battles like in Skies of Arcadia. Exploring - especially in the beginning of the game - can come in handy, as you may find some items specially hidden to help you beat the first mini-boss in the game.

Will there be some sort of Mini-Game(s) in the game?

Will there be some sort of Easter Egg in the game pertaining to previous games that Sega has made?

Will the Anime Series be airing around the same time as the games lauch?

The first two I can't go into detail on currently, but will let you know once I can confirm.

In regard to the anime, the game will be releasing first in January, followed by the Anime launch shortly after in the Spring.

Also, Taupy continues to impress me. This game is challenging sometimes, but Taupy's group defense buff has saved my hide in boss battles countless times. Use it!

I've been in a cave for the past two years, what's this game about and why should I be interested? xD at least I got interested with the battle system already, it looks like Grandia.
