Petition: gold medals for first place

Currently gold medals are not included in the list of first place prizes.

3rd place: bronze medals
2nd place: silver medals
1st place: previously released neutral weapon only 2 classes can use, and a decoration easily obtained from the casino during the coin boosts we had.

Can you see the problem here?

By all means offer the Ragan-Ragan, but could the first place prize also include a gold medal? Not only do these have very high sentimental value, but they're also worth a lot of meseta for people who don't want one, currently 2nd place is monetarily more rewarding.

There are only six gold medals on the 360 servers, around half of these are on banned accounts now, making this something to really be proud of owning. Currently if you want something to show for your achievement, 2nd place is preferable - which is a bit silly.

Current prize just doesn't make any sense either as a reward, or within the normal scheme of prizes. Even ignoring that, is a neutral weapon a good prize for a time attack? By definition it's completely useless to the recipients, and to anyone who values doing fast runs.

I have essentially posted only one poll option, because this is a petition, not a poll. If you don't agree then don't vote at all.

i personally think it's a great idea, plus, it's our only chance to win a gold medal since 360 players have no chance to compete for one during mag+ dur to our lag issues... unless it is decided to have separate leaderboards for the separate servers, but i won't get my hopes up on that one.

I like the idea and I support it as it only makes sense. However the actual GGC means nothin to me and is rubbish in my eyes, but if I was running in it, I would have to agree with bloodflowers on this.

I already stated this is a petition not a poll, this is the only way to count yes votes without people trolling it. There is -absolutely no reason- to vote no anyway even if it was a poll, I'm advocating gold medals are added to the prize list for first.

what the almighty 360 can't compete in ta boards holy cow. wait why can't you. considering sega favors you and even if we are totally awesome on pc/ps2 (which we are) there isn't enough of us left to fill the board. besides all your complaints are invalid at least you will get to do mag+ we'll most likely be in 065 again. cause sega loves us in a non standard way.

Please keep your platform war and downtime whining out of this. If the prizes get fixed then the winning PC team will also benefit.

Im not sure if you pay more than 360 its the first ive heard of it unless you live in a different country like me i pay £6.99 a month i believe its $9.99 a month for usa players?

I would like to see first place given a Gold medal. As it'd be more sentimental and worthy of first place in a tournament.
