Hey there, anyone remember the Dreamcast? Well I certainly do, and I've made this thread in order to ask a few questions.
First off, right off the bat, how does a Dreamcast pad instead of a Saturn pad sound to you lot? (Maybe wireless? lol)
Well I for one, would love it, I'd buy 4 (Especially if they were wireless and had VMU support!!!! lol.), or more depending on what I could use it for, I would adore the fact that I could use a Dreamcast style controller on my PC to play SEGA Games and even if it didn't work natively with other games is not a problem, the thought of having it just thrills me.
So that's a question asked, now how about this one, how many of you still play your Dreamcast from time to time?
As for me I play mine on a regular basis, there's nothing better than playing Jet Set Radio, Sonic Adventure 2 and some Crazy Taxi 2, heck how about some Ecco the Dolphin? I mean look at the graphics on that
Now, how many of you still play ONLINE with your Dreamcast?
What's this you say? all the Official online servers are gone? not true! in fact Gamespy still offer some Quake 3 Arena servers for gamers to play on.
Now, I may sound like another silly fan of the console from 10 years ago that died, but I'm just a curious guy who loves all consoles, I love my NES, I love my Dreamcast, I love my N64, but this is a SEGA forum so I'm really curious on who still uses theirs and what they use it for.
Also, on a sidenote, if it's not been mentioned before, have you all heard of SEGA's new Arcade hardware? The RingEdge and the RingWide? they look pretty good if you ask me, the game trailers look top notch, can't wait to sink my teeth into some of that! (here's hoping for some sort of home release!) lol.
So there you go, my Dreamcast questions asked, I want to know your views, so yep, there we go lol.
Good Topic my friend, I have my DreamCasts too (two of them) I was a really SEGA Fan when I was a child. Itīs really a pity that's our console doesnīt have any new big games, but I always play Rush 2049, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Shuffle, and Power Stone ... it was awesome Midway,Sega and Capcom Games for Dreamcast .... I dream with these games in Playstation 3 and XBox 360
Played my dreamcast today with some friends, SOul Calibur =)
I don't think Sega will produce DC pads. It was a great pad, but not very revolutionary enough to make into a usb pad. The Saturn pad was renowned for having a great dpad and 6 solid face buttons, makign it great for fighters.
The dreamcast pad had great a analogue stick and triggers though, but not head-turning enough to bring it back alive (as much as all us DC fans would like to see)
I have my dreamcast up a lot, will be playing Sonic Adventure 2 a lot soon for collating some Chao information. been such a long time!
