sonic's story reminded me a lot of sonic adventure (mixed with adventure 2), and shadow's story reminded me of shadow the hedgehog, except with an adventure field, and guns that are only on vehicles. also some of the level's weren't as long... then again some did take quite awhile to beat... still nothing like that last level in shadow though o_O
silver's story was just something new. guess its kind of along the lines of amy's slow moving platforming in adventure but with a twist. (and with out running away from a robot)

I hope there is another Shadow game, some people may not like but others would. Thats the biggest problem SEGA face right now, no matter what kind of game they make it'll probably only satisfy part of the fanbase and **** off the rest of it.
Nah. If it were real SEGA would have pulled it to cover their blunder, just like with Project Needlemouse, Sonic Adventure for XBLA, Sonic and SEGA All-Stars, Super Monkey Ball, etc.

Ok thats an exaguration it wasn't THAT unpopular, opinion varys from site to site and I've seen alot of people who like it, more so then the people who dislike it it's just that the game is more popular among flamers for..wel flaming.
That's a little optimistic.
Whether you like the game or not, I don't care, but you have to admit that the game did tremendous damage to the franchise's reputation. Despite selling pretty well the critical reception was overwhelmingly negative and it is often cited as the worst Sonic game of all time.
