Round II is finally upon us!

Congratulations to all those who have passed to Round II, and to all those who raced! Some notes:

1. Please see the rules for PC/PS2 posted in the GGC2 forum here for details on Round II. The winners from Round I were randomly re-assigned for their Round II opponents; from here on out we will use simple brackets to determine who advances.

2. Casino coins from Round 1 still need to be awarded. If you ran with an alternate, MAKE SURE that their ID# is sent to our moderators (shadowblackhedgehog and S-T-H).

3. Scheduling for Round II officially begins Wednesday, February 3rd (unless Hedgehog Day breaks our site entirely). That means you may start scheduling now! Contact your mods, as before:

4. Round II can't go on as long as Round I, however, I do want to give ample time to run. I realize that with MAG+ and everything, we are all busy. But do your best to schedule a time as soon as possible!

5. Due to their potential opponents being DQ'd for not racing, Team Re-Re and We're Gonna Finish Last have a bye into the third round.

6. Deadline for Round II is February 22nd. Register as soon as you can!

How long of a gap is there for practices? like before originally we had to choose monday to friday in a 2 week period, can we get a date deadline? and nice choice of map btw

5. We had a handful of disqualifications from Round I for Xbox 360. Note that the would-be opponents of Team Re-Re and We're Gonna Finish Last were all DQ'd. That means, those two teams are now facing each other. We will wait to see how Round II plays out before deciding how to schedule these teams for Round III.

Why not give "Team Re-Re" and "We're Gonna Finish Last" free wins for the 2nd round? I don't think people that didn't bother to show up for their race should disrupt the brackets.

Some teams advanced to the 2nd round due to the other team not showing up. This wouldn't be any different.

I noticed on the brackets us and Cheetos team are listed twice.. so someone will get a buy next round?

I agree with Jim the brackets were set. Why manipualte them now? Each team still puts up a time but auto advances due to no opponent. Why mess things up more. The teams waited long enough to race

I was actually thinking this to, its kinda not fair that some teams got to move forward undisputed but we dont get to have the same chance, I think both our teams should have to still race and provide a time, but move forward by default to the next round, its changed how the bracket was in order

yeah how the brackets are now set someone next round will get a buy or the winner of our match will have to play twice.....doesnt make much sense. If there is a buy it should be this round not next.
