    Default Alien Wallwalk

Just curious to see how many people prefer the old alien wallwalk.
For those of you who don't know:

Old Wallwalk: You hold one key to turn wallwalk on, or press one key to toggle it on. When walkwalk was on, the alien would autotransist between surfaces. If it was off, the alien could fall of ledges and walls.

Current Wallwalk: Wallwalk is always on, alien can not fall off ledges or walls automatically. Have a choice between autotransisting and staying on the current surface.

I myself prefferred the old wallwalk.

Yeah, I much prefer the old wallwalk as the current one is cause for too much disorientation and unintential actions. I really hate how the transition button throws you off a wall, so if you're above an enemy on a wall (in a map like temple with the high side walls) and want to drop down to get a quick stealth kill, it arcs you infront of the enemy with you having no control of your landing, and they end up killing you.

I prefer the new one, after played the alien campaing and the demo i love the new alien wallwalk, and i dont use too much the transsition button, with the jump button its more accurate and i kill all the marines with stealth without problems.

I do love how the new system feels more fluid in moving over the environment from surface to surfac, but I wish you could untoggle the alien's 'stickiness' so you could easily move over obstacles and free fall off ledges. IMO, if the devs changed the transition button to a cling button and combined the old toggability with the current wall climbing, then it'd be perfect.

lol, I did. I was just adding how I like how the current wallwalking feels compared to the old system, but I do prefer the toggle option.

New with the auto-transition only. Takes some time but after awhile its not so disorienting and unwanted climbs are a rarity.

Old wallwalk just cause I actually felt in control of what I was doing. In this I feel like i'm only in control so long as I manage to move in exactly the right way so as not to get too close to a wall or box cause then the Alien is going to decide to be stupid an climb on it. In short too much automation is bad cause you lose control. This game is a good example cause it tries to automate damn near everything.
