Default No sound issue fix ( usually this fixes it )

Change the quality on your sound card to higher or lower. My buddy had 0 sound past the initial loading splash screens. I had him increase the quality of sound through the settings on his sound card and it worked. If you are having sound issues, try this out and post here if it still doesnt work. I will try my best to assist you.

This 'fix' has already been mentioned over a thousand times already it works for a very few people, but most it doesn't do anything.

The best thing to do now is really wait until the patch that has a workaround which will be released at the beginning of next month.

Will say it is nice to see another person who is trying to be helpful instead of another whiny ***** who doesn't contribute.

I got another fix that worked for me:

If the sound is missing or corrupted then you may be able to address it by turning off Sound Blaster enhancements.

For example, on Windows Vista / 7 you may be able do this by going to:
Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback -> [active playback device] -> Properties -> Sound Blaster and ticking the Disable Enhancements box, then clicking Ok.

The active playback device will depend on your setup but will probably be called Speakers or Headphones. You may find this option elsewhere, depending on your OS or drivers.

This issue may be addressed in a future driver release or Aliens vs Predator patch.
