What do you think of Sonic & Tails friendship?

I've noticed that in recent Sonic games Sonic and Tails haven't been showing that much attention to each other. I'm not saying that they hate each other, I just think their friendship hasn't been appearing lately. What do you think they could do to fix it?

I think there stories come to different points..

They should be budies that hang out and less of sonic doing every thing and tails just being the loser macanic that looks up to him waaaay too much. Tails needs more action.

I noticed that......... Make Sonic and Tails have a story together in a game. Like it could be unlocked after you complete Sonic and Tails' story.

Eh, tis Tails' character developement direction. He's simply becoming his own person, and Sonic isn't as much of a priority for him anymore.
To put it simply, Tails is growing up~

Whilst he technically is, it's at a much slower pace; and as such shan't be noticable.
