MrFranklin, I agree with your post except for the first part:
1.) Shenmue I was one of the best selling Dreamcast games...it sold 1.2 million copies, which would've made way more than the twenty million price tag that the first game had...the main reasons the series cost 70 million was because of all of the R&D (there was A LOT of it), and the wasted Saturn version (both games were completed, maybe even some of the third).Originally Posted by MrFranklin
2.) There were much, much, bigger losses for SEGA than Shenmue could've ever been, and, finally,
3.) SEGA never went bankrupt.
That said, give me Shenme I and Shenmue II on XBLA/PSN!
T Shirts from the E3 Show
@Sega does what @Nintendon't
Nice shirt, but I wish the year said "1999".
...and still no Sakura Taisen? SEGA could have set a precedent, by translating it, and then offer it on XBLA (since SCEA still shoves its high and almighty "MANDATORY ENGLISH DUB" rule, on everybody's throats).
Starts with an S, but not named Sonic:
Was hoping there would be more games announced for this at E3, with 1 day left it doesn't look promising
