    Default Uninstall AVG?

Guess so, I don't think it's a good idea to have 2 antivirus installed.

Ever since AVG came out there's been problems that I won't bother wasting time going into detail. Uninstall, get avast, kapastry, or avira.

After uninstalling, check and clean out with Ccleaner cause AVG likes to stick files that won't remove. If you can't get rid of them or uninstall, get the AVG remover then reboot.
So... AVP.... lack of funding for patch 5.... and yet, look at how ACM is turning out. How's that karma feel?

Microsoft even tells you you should uninstall all other antivirus and anti spyware programs before you install Microsoft Security Essentials. So, yeah, I'd uninstall AVG

How could more protection possibly be worse for your computer?

I wouldn't even bother using Security Essentials anyway. After all, Microsoft is known for their crapware.

Because it doesn't matter which two antivirus programs you have installed, they can conflict with each other. Two antivirus programs don't give you any more protection than one does by itself.

Same with Firewalls. Yeah two sounds like you'll get more protection, but that's not the case. The two will conflict with each other.

The reason I had two in the first place was, I downloaded MSE in its beta stage. (Which wasn't too good BTW) It looked like it wouldn't completely protect my computer.

But now, its actually in a good state so I guess. BYE! Avg.
