Default Please welcome SEGA Producer Yas to the Yakuza forums!

    Hey everyone!

Today we have a special announcement that I think many of you guys will be stoked to hear. Our Senior Producer at SEGA of America for Yakuza 4, Yas, has officially joined the forums and will be around to discuss the game, talk about localization efforts, and more as we build up towards our big launch this spring.

There may be some questions Yas can't answer yet, but now we have a direct representative straight from our production team who can jump into discussions, correct wrong info, and maybe even answer some of those hardball questions you guys have. (Just be polite!)

A little history: Yas used to work at SEGA years ago and recently rejoined us to work on projects like Yakuza 4, among others. While he wasn't around for Y3, he's doing his best to make sure Y4's production as good as possible. He's fluent in Japanese and does the best actual yakuza impression I've ever heard - in San Francisco, anyway.

Let's give him a warm Yakuza-style welcome to the SEGA Boards!

    Hi everyone!

    Thanks for the welcome Ruby!

Please feel free to call me "Yas." No "Mr." or "-san" is necessary.

Looking forward to participating in the community and discussing Yakuza with all of you!

Oh, cool! Thanks for your kind words. The Yakuza team would be very happy to hear that.

My best friend growing up was Hungarian-American, and he'd try to teach me Hungarian, but I could never pronounce it correctly. Tough language to pronounce! I hope to visit Budapest some day! :D

    Really?!
Oh,yes,it is said to be a very difficult language!

May I put a few questions up?

What is your favourite episode in Yakuza-Ryu ga Gotoku series? And what is your favourite mini game in it?
I know a lot of people would mention the story at first, but I'm an "adventure mode maniac",so this is the reason I asked it first.

And...the most important question regarding the new episode-Yakuza 4.

Will we get the uncut version of the game?(except Answer&Answer mini game-If I know well it is cut).

We know that hostess clubs and ladies are back, this means that the "making hostess number 1" sidequest(the hostess dressing-customizing mini game) is in the game, isn't it?What about shogi and mahjong, and massage mini game?

Thank you very much for the answers!

Another European here. Welcome to the boards and please don't let some of the criticism get to you personally; it shows how passionate people can be about the series. Looking forward to cool insider information.
