Sonic 4 it's not a tragedy, it's a good game with bad ideas

when I was little, i used to play sonic 2. Brilliant game, maybe the best game i've ever played. It was an ingenious feat. it beat the hell out of mario and his italian friends.

In sonic 4, they tried to take the best from the old sonic games.
But what i don't get, is why the made a kinda weird rip-off, instead of making a new 2d sonic game.

Despite that, I enjoyed the game. It wasn't perfect, which game is?(sonic 2). See there's a lot of negative comments saying sonic 4 sucks. I disagree, sega did their best. And i'll bet they make episode 2 much better. And yes, improving the physics for sonic. Sonic behaved like a brick before getting some speed up.

Hope next episode will focus on new elements, eggman getting some new cool contraptions for beating sonic, not ripping of your old games sega.

The problem here is that this Sonic 4 is a DIMPS game. It was not developed by the same Sonic Team that made Sonic 2. Mario is lucky because he still have Shigeru Miyamoto and Koji Kondo working on his new games.

I think it's a decent game, it has its flaws but it certainly has me addicted to it. It just needs more YU2. (unfortunately the chances for that happening are very slim)

Lol, wonder if that counts as false advertising as its not the same sonic team no what u mean mario hit the nail on the head where sonic just seems to want to use the sonic name for a quick cash boost as it aint on the same level as its predacesors.

if you dont like it go back to Genesis. If you cant adapt dont play the game cause Sega isnt going to make the game the same way it was before.

This is the NEW sonic and believe it or not most of the ppl that downloaded it are new fans to the series and dont really know the difference. Sega wont put the game back to how it was in S3 just for a minority percentage of the fanbase who act like crybabies =P

People who dislike the awful physics are crybabies? LOL. "New Sonic" has tanked and that is why SEGA made Sonic 4 to reach back to their roots. No one minds if they add modern twists to it but the physics are seriously whack.

Were not cry babies for believing the sequel to our favorite games be similar to them its my belief that this game has bombed big time and sega doesnt care for the original sonic fans like they made out .
Comparing sonic 4 to sonic and knuckles or sonic 3 is like comparing a original product to a cheap supermarket equivalent.
