I disagree, I think the gameplay itself is fine. There are definitely other problems though.

The population, as far as I'm concerned, is dead. The controls make the game horrible. They are very clunky and out-dated, in my opinion. The way the gameplay is done didn't appeal to me either. They feel too slow and clunky as well. A few friends and myself were hyped for it and quickly grew to hate it (8 different people). The game is very small in comparison to what they could have done with more time spent as well.
