Default Best way to learn how to play RoF?

I have a slight learning disability, so I tend to stick with games that have a system like what I find on other games. Just pure difficultly level does not phase me. But having to learn a difficult interface DOES.

So of these 3 methods which do you think is the best way for me to learn RoF before I spend hours playing it?

    Please VOTE and comment.

If you have people that can show you, its always the best method as then they can guide you directly on how to play

i learned by getting the headache using the ingame manual sheets, then working it out. and i also saw the vids before i got the game, so i had a bit of a head start.

but i did describe it to my friend, and he seemed to get it. tho he wasnt playing, i was just showing.

i'd say, take in as many resources as u can, the just try it out in the ingame tutorial and or the area battles as that has little permanent consequence. and just keep trying untill u get it. that's how i did it.

but no matter how hard it all was for me, it was all worth it.

Yeah the arena tutorial is great, made the game make sense xD. The built in manual is pretty good

by just playing it. the more you play it the more you get the hang of it.

I agree. And stick with the game, keep persevering, be persistent. I nearly returned this game because I found it so hard. But I persisted and now I am on Chapter 12 and my characters are on level 72.

In the battles the characters make comments at the end of each battle, and Leanne says, "It will get easier, right?".

Well YES it does get a lot easier if you can just get through the first few chapters.
