Release Dates??

Well so far their is not even a release date for USA, so we might not even get the game like Phantasy Star Infinty, which Sega announced WILL NOT be released outside of Japan.

Erm, I must have missed the announcement - when/where was this announced about PSP2i?

We haven't missed out on a main-release PSO/PSU/PSP game yet. Infinity was kind of an add-on game. At any rate, I don't even think a JP release date has been announced. Alpha doesn't even start there until after the TGS, after all.:P

Alpha actually is supposed to start mid-August. TGS isn't until September, but PSO2 will be playable there.

Gah! Well I'm officially going with that you say, because I've heard way too many conflicting things. At first, I heard Beta would start sometime after the TGS, but then someone else said Alpha, etc etc. Well, whichever it is, seems like PSO2 is coming at a breakneck pace if it's out before December in Japan.

I'd say the "conflicts" are just people throwing around the word Beta-Alpha like they are the same thing as usual.

Well, I'm glad that I was right originally at least.:P I figured I hadn't been following as closely as other people so I was wrong or some such idea. I can definitely see a release before December in that case. Sounds like it's coming along nicely.

They would actually save by making the servers global, I would assume. It should just have multi-language support like the other PSO games have in the past.

Well, most of the core "problems" (bugs) Japan gets to deal with them first.
However, I would have to agree, I would like it here as well. I am excited for the release of the game.
My guess would be 2014 for the release date.

Assuming you are serious with that date, you are going to be very wrong.

I'm guessing December 2011 release in Japan and February/March 2012 everywhere else, assuming the release isn't international (it won't be).
