Sonic Adventure DX; Xbox Live Arcade DLC Achievements aren't unlocking

Hey if you ever get your achievement reinstated could you post something here to explain how? I just finished my 60 missions (53 and 54 took a ridiculous amount of time ) and I didn't get the achievement either.

Oh believe me, I'll post when my Achievement finally unlocks. I wouldn't worry though. This could be something that SEGA could fix with a simple patch...


Or it could be a bit more....convoluted. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Any update on this issue? Not to sound like a stalker but I noticed Asaji's achievement progress for this game is 120/250. What happened there?

I'm having issues also! It has been happening for a while but, now that all I need is the 3 DLC achievements. I earned them but, they did not pop. GT: AndreLavallee1 - if you have the same problem friend me. Several people working on the same problem while actually able to talk to each other is more efficient.

Hi andreglava. This issue actually has been solved for the XBLA marketplace version of Sonic Adventure. It sorta fixed itself during a sale Sega had back in January, when they changed the game file size from 1.6 to 1.5 gigs. I don't know why or how it fixed it but it did. So anyway, just redownload the main game (no need to redownload the DLC) and make sure it's 1.5 gigs. If you've already done all Metal Sonic A ranks and missions you can just replay an easy level or mission and get those two achievements.

Unfortunately, in order to get the Metal Sonic achievement (the one you unlock for getting all 130 emblems) you'll have to start a new game and get all the emblems again. I had to do this, so I can confirm that even though it might be a pain to have to play through it again, it will unlock.

One last caveat: people with the Dreamcast Collection version of Sonic Adventure haven't figured out a fix yet. If you have this version I would get in touch with Sega's support center.

If it helps any, misery loves company, I'm now having the same problems as some of you all. I got all the emblems from Sonic Adventure, downloaded 360 version, except the Chao Garden ones. Then I forgot I had not bought the DX so I went and downloaded that. I finished up my Chao achievements and they unlocked, but no Metal Sonic achievement for all 130 emblems. I sent a ticket to Sega and got a prompt response back about beating all the A Rank Metal Sonic missions to get it, I must not have explained the problem very well I suppose. Just sent back a more in-depth response to that, no reply yet. My copy of SA was pretty old, I downloaded it when it first came to the arcade, so it may have been the 1.6 Gig one everyone is talking about, but I didn't check before I re-downloaded it. That didn't help though, even though it is 1.5 gig now, still no achievement. I'm not sure about the other two DX achievements, I'm not in a super hurry to go do all that when this problem is so widespread. I love Sonic games and love others to take a peek at my gamer profile to SEE I love Sonic games, so this is sorta a bummer to me. I spent the better part of a month playing this game and getting all the achievements, I'll be damned if I'm going to do it all over again for the OFF chance it will work this time. I love Sonic, but at this point I want to jam a rusty knife in his face after 130 emblems.
