Revenge of Shinobi as a downloadable title for PS3/Xbox360?
I don't know if it's been already debated here but as you may know, many megadrive games already got a port to the PS3/Xbox360 including: Sonic 1, 2, Streets or Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes, Golden Axe and Comix Zone.
I'm not particularly a big fan of those ports but I would really be glad however to see this happening to Revenge of Shinobi which is on the top 5 of my favourite megadrive games.
I know there is copyright issues regarding the use of Spider-Man in the lastest revision of the game but I'm aware that the game has been made downloadable on the WiiWare by altering the palette of the Spiderman boss into green/pink which apparently solved the copyright issue.
For this last reason, I would like to see Revenge of Shinobi as a downloadable on PS3/Xbox360.
It's already been announced alongside Monster World 4 and some other games. I'm actually wondering when we'll be given a release date (I'm really looking forward to MW4). And, yeah, they'll most likely be patching them.
No, I'm pretty sure there hasn't been any news since the initial announcement.
I doubt we'll get any kind of official update until the games are close to release but I'd appreciate even a simple "the games are still going to be released" or "unfortunately their release has been put on hold/their release has been cancelled".
I have a few ideas why the games might have been delayed but unfortunately it would be nothing but me speculating.
