Valkyria Chronicles 4

I wonder if there could be a new Valkyria Chronicles game whose plot is through EW3, a war between the Atlantic Federation and The Eastern Empire versus the two forces from separate landmasses; the Ameran Union and the Kamuan Dominion. The Amerans are a mysterious nation led by the prophet Cambyses. The Kamuan Dominion is a warlike nation composed of many conquered forces and conquerers including the Kamuan people and the Nassani people. The Nassani are legendary warlike people that functions as super troopers and commisars for the Kamuan armies. The Kamuan Dominion is led by Dictator Nobugana. The main antagonist of the game is Nassani Grand Commisar Myr. A few people achieved immortality including the dictator and Grand Commisar themselves as well as General Karasu and Supreme Commander Darius. Welkin and Alica must serve the Gallian army to defend the country at first from the Ameran Union then later, the Kamuan Dominion. New units types include Support Gunners (Slow Movement, Long range and good firepower and clip size for Light Machine Gun, Elite version is Heavy Gunners), Shield Guards (Slow Movement, front protected with bulletproop and explosion resistant riot shield, short range but good firepower machine pistol, Elite version is Sentinel), Armored Cars (Fastest Vehicle, equipped with machinegun, low armor) Battlestation Tanks (Plenty of guns including primary cannon, side and front mounted machineguns and cannons, Kamuan Ahnilator Tank is example) and more. Prologue is Welkin and Alicia must fight a small group of Ameran enemies; 3 scouts and 1 shield guard.

VC 4 should focus on wrapping up the plot holes from the other games. e.g. Alicia's parents.

I think Jager liberating Fhriald would make a decent side-game of sorts. Get back to the PS3 on a non-Gallian point, freshen things up a little. Despite the Anime, he never died in-game, right? Whole new Nation, characters, and weapons, but with a familiar leader who has been praised previously for his superior tank and tactis. Sounds right up SEGA's alley.

I kind of expect VC4 to be the scenario everyone in the games fear: all-out war in ECII and Gallia is the battleground, not just in a symmetrical conflict with the Empire. I'd like to see Jaeger from Fhriald and Nahum from Dryer, the smaller kingdoms referenced, also entering into armed neutrality similar to Gallia, so you have these independent states looking to Gallia for inspiration, but not protection. Lots of characters return from the first three games as Gallia has to repel two invaders instead of just one this time. Large, epic campaign and robust multiplayer options, the game should be available on PS3 and Vita with cross-platform play.

I guess this "rumour" is unfortunately just somebody trolling the VC community via 2ch. The date says 22. November. Famitsu is a weekly magazine, isn't it? We would already know by now...
