Just had my first play through, although I've had the game for months. The game seems to allow meaningful choices. At least it appears to have a number of choices that will make the game play out differently - I played as good a guy as the game would allow, but I still had to make some difficult "grey" decisions. I was caught in situations where I
wanted to save someone I knew and also save unknown people - but I couldn't do both. This aspect was great.
Unless the game gives a false impression, the game would have different consequences and different endings if I
made different choices. This element was very well presented.
Also the different skills one could develop were very good. I played a tank, but the ability to play in a different style, with different weapons, was definitely available.
The story gave a cynical and bleak picture of governments and corporations. One of the best told, credible stories
I've seen in a game.
As for glitches - I had one mission that wouldn't activate until I reloaded an earlier checkpoint. The visuals are
perfectly fine. The crouching run animation is a bit comical - but really in the big picture of what this game
accomplishes - who cares.
One of the best role playing games I've ever played.
I enjoyed the game a lot too. I played as amateur and focused on hacking, manipulating and stealth. The bosses gave me a hard time and I had to retry quite often.
My game (PS3) crashed about 5 or 6 times as I turned the TV on to watch the news and sometimes the enemies nearby disappeared when I reloaded a savefile.
