I mean wether it being 3D Sonic Games or 2D Sonic games do you think SEGA would ever switch to the 3D Classic Sonic model from here on out?

Well I dont know what its like over there in the US, but over here in the UK. Modern sonic is marketed towards Children (Posters, T-shirts) and will forever have a stigma of being for kids and furrys. Especially since he made new friends.

I went to Summer of Sonic and most of the Normal looking people i talked to were just your everyday classic Sonic fans (usually aged 18+)

The only people who tend to disagree were the people who were cosplaying and are most likely into the fur action.

I see sonic generations as a goodbye to classic sonic. (Except for sth4, but since he has homing attack I guess the most doesn't even see him as classic anymore:P)

Uh, I don't know about that. I was at Summer of Sonic this year too, and there really did seem to be a real diverse mix of ages. Additionally, Modern Sonic for kids and furries? Haha.

I've seen more Classic Sonic T-shirts here in the UK on children than I have Modern ones. And furries... that's just... wut?

@ Sonikku, that's wrong information. Ruby said ages ago that his words had been twisted. He directly stated that Classic Sonic wasn't planned to make another appearance, however, they were always open to using Classic Sonic again.

Even though I don't see it somehow it would be nice to have him back permenantly.

Rubyeclipse did say that if he was popular enough they might be tempted to bring him back for more games but I don't see it happening.

No Generations looks as though this is his final Swansong.
