Yeah. A lot of jokes were taken too long and run into the ground. You gotta know when to give the punchline and leave. I think it might have to do with the fact that the Madworld writers were sort of out of their element, writing for a game children can access.

Proof of this would be the overall quality of Eggman's PSA lines, which are darker and more sophisticated (dare I say Portalesque)?
