Hey Everyone,

I know I don't create threads that often, but I think this instance definitely deserves it.

The Renegade OPs, and Sonic 4 Team have decided to participate in a Charity Event called Movember; a charity which goes to raise money for Men's health issues. Prostate Cancer, Mental Health, etc. If you haven't heard of it don't worry, I never heard of it until now either.

When the Tragic Earthquake happened in Japan last year, I saw the Sonic Community rally in a super positive way to help people. And I can't think of a better group of fans to reach out to for support that this one!

Whether you want to support the team or a specific individual - it's all good. One day, we may have a Sonic fan who is going through these issues, or have a few now even, and I'm just glad I can help out and show my support.

What! Ken! How dare you reach into the community to gather donations for you and your efforts! Shame!

Ok, so I'm just jealous you thought of it first and really went for it, even bribing people with codes! Let it be known that we have a full team present in this Movember charity, named SEGA of Mo-merica! Before we go into why I'm clearly the better candidate for your donations, let's get a bit of background out of the way and answer the question on everyone's mind: How does growing a mustache help a charity??

What the heck is Movember?
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Once registered at www.movember.com, men start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.

Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.
