@Sega does what @Nintendon't
I liked it a lot, very well put together. Definitely stirred my interest in the game, which is good, because I've been speculating putting it on the backburner for next year, just because there are so many games I'm interested in this year. I'm going to need some gameplay footage before I'm willing to bump something else from the list for this one, though.
Well well here we are again, old uncle Musta here reporting for duty, or did you GB guys (and you Sega too, just allow me to start off with GB) think that you would be safe after all fan rage focusing on Rebellion and that sub-par beta thing they released called AVP?, oh how naive of you, really.
Ok this new cinematic trailer about Dead Isla..., lol I mean ACM, argh what would old uncle Musta be thinking about, eh? heheh. Well It looks ok to me though that "weird?" music was the last thing I was expecting, and in my humble opinion doesn't just suit aliens very well. Ok It is just a cinematic, I'll leave It alone; it sucks major balls still not having something taken from the game, but well I'll leave It there. Kudos from here to Axis Animation, the guys behind both Dead Island and now this ACM trailer.
And then we return to the old classic problem, problem from which no developer still learns about, problem I have seen once more in that "walkthrough" released before Christmas and now in this new Dead Islan..., sorry what the hell was I thinking on? xD, I mean this new ACM cinematic trailer, and what could It be?, eeehh Gearbox?..., eeeh?
***drum roll***
Those alien warriors, again tiny, again small, again ADI, again retarded, again NOT ALIEN warriors, again trololol"alien" warriors to continue with Rebellion's tradition since avp2010, right?, good GB!!, keep It up that way, you really seem to be true passionate about the "Aliens" film and know how those old classic Cameraliens were and sized. You guys do really know what an alien warrior is?, I just lol at you GB, you give me no choice on this subject, because If you really think that just doing marines and atmosphere as they were in the film (kudos to you guys here) is enough, then you fail miserably. I have heard rumors pointing that you removed that childish sail tail, a minor problem in these new generation "alien" warriors made for the casual audience and kids in general. Do you think that is also enough then?, keep It up GB, see you and your also rofl mao praetorian-runner..., I mean your "Crusher" too around november, this as long as Sega doesn't delay this again, of course.
And now you Sega...., ah Sega, sega sega sega sega sega..., always you, always Sega, you are aaaalways there Sega, every night you are in the nightmares of any good and humble "Aliens" fan who have been waiting for this game since 2006. Actually, I and a trillion others actually do since 2002, that ps2 game you know, so imgaine how good we feel about this even when you had nothing to with with that old project by then.
You Sega are the one and only problem that both Rebellion and now GB (and we fans too, why not) had the misfortune to see as publisher. You Sega, you, your endless delays and infinite retardation managing this game..., It is always about you

Christ Almighty- Aliens fans are just awful... I'm ashamed to be one of them.
@Musta, the Alien franchiese has been in the toilet for YEARS in fact it peaked with AlienS and then went down hill ever since with a few small sparks of life like AvP2 along the way. But the fact is Alien/Aliens has been on life support WAY before Sega got involved.
So far Sega has only released 1 Aliens game they were directly responsible for which was the Nintendo DS Alien game, which was actually pretty damn good. The 2010 Alien vs Predator game Sega had almost nothing to do with, they picked up the publishing rights to that game on the 11th hour after it was dropped by Vivendi. I can't say if Colonial Marines will be good or bad but the delays are down to GearBox Software.
All I'm going to say is this, just wait until you see Segas 3rd person Alien game. Developed in-house by Segas Creative Assembly team. Trust me based on high quality output of Creative Assembly I have no doubt it'll be the high point for the entire Alien series this entire decade.
ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL
BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL
THAN OTHERS.
Ok game idea is great I've been waiting for this for years BUT why oh why have you made it first person?!?
1st person market is hard to get into due to your usual cod and halo. I'm a little tired of them they are all exactly th same they just have different skin's, you could have done so much better with the gameplay of it I mean atleast given the option for gears of war type game play were you can see your character see what's around you rather than just what's directly infront of you. I know this will be a game i'd play for an hour or so THEN after seeing some of the things from the film I'd get very very bored.
yeah been a sega fans is definitely something to feel very proud of right. Now listen to me for a moment please:
Agree, and I guess I should say "thanks Sega! (I did back then in 2006...). Not anymore.
This pretty much sums up you don't know what you are talking about. Rebellion's game that was going to be released by Vivendi was a Predator game based on the film AVp:Requiem, like the one for the psp (Sierra) but Vivendi this time. The project molted into an AVP game when Sega took over the rights of the franchise, and forced Rebellion to rush the crap we all know as AVP2010. It was Sega who made Rebellion switch project and use a good bunch of material of the predator game (based on avp:requiem) there were making for a brand new avp game (with marines and in the future, like the good classic avp).
Again, you do know what you are talking about right. Either you made the people like me waiting for this game for ages laugh hard at such comment, or raging hard on you who knows. In my case you made me laugh big time, so congratulations man.
I agree with you here too. I have the feeling that the 3rd person game more based on alien instead of aliens is gonna be cool, among other things because I prefer alien, not the sequel. Nevertheless, with Sega behind as publisher..., well, what can be said about that after all this time, I'd say again.

Just so there's no confusion, the delay was a joint decision from SEGA and Gearbox:
“Aliens: Colonial Marines is a process of creativity and invention and those don't necessarily follow the structure of an assembly line. While setting clear goals, deadlines and predictions is helpful, they are often subjective. We don't want to sacrifice the creative process just for the sake of following a blue print. We prefer to have the creative discovery shape that blue print because our goal is to make a great game, and we are prioritizing this goal over the previously targeted date.”
That pretty much says it all. If you are going to feedback on the push, please consider the above.

How about releasing this damn game already. I read and understand AND appreciate the want for quality but as long as this has been pressed ack and is continuing to look this way then when you do release it, it better be damb good (by gamers standards, not yours) if your to actually take any credit for quality!
Ok, so as a fan thats een wait for what seems like 10ing YEARS for this game. The video was crap. Would be good for a game that has a normal make and release cycle but for as long as you've been pushing this game back, I expected more. I cant even believe you pushed this game back this long and you cant even aim down sight! Why even put iron sights and the guns? Oh, and I love that you have to put the turret in desinated spot. Oh and for pushing back for how long, you cant even interfere with aliens killing teamates no, they just take them no matter how much you fire at them. I'm very disappointed!
