Which Game Had The Best/Worst Eggman?

He seems to have gone through a lot of changes over the years, so which game did you feel had the best Eggman and which one had the worst?

Personally, my favorite Eggman would probably be in Riders. Yeah, I know, "Shocker", but hey, the dude won. He probably could have been more involved, but if sitting back and letting others do the work works for him, then by all means, let others do the work. In fact, I think I like him better that way, instead of just sending a bunch of robots at Sonic.

Least favorite is in 06. No, not for the stupid model, because of his voice. That scene where he sends Team Sonic through time just...It's not pleasant. I can't even describe it, maybe it's the tone, maybe it's the lines, I don't know.

Non-Honorable Mention, Colors and Generations. Hey, guys, about beating Sonic, *Points to Riders*. Start working on de-aging machines, you're losing your memories to old age.

Adventure 1 and 3andK Eggman, in Adventure he was sinister and in the classics he was a boss who had a sense of self reliance(not relying on monsters) and got stuff done with his own hands (death egg).

Best: SA2, Unleashed. He seemed like a more dynamic character in both, in the former he was willing to help save the world (probably just so he could take over it afterward, but still) and in the latter he had a nice balance between silly and serious.

I actually like Eggman in Colors too, his angry and bumbling personality is one of the few things I feel was done right and it made him the perfect comedic villain. I also like his zany personality in the Rush and Riders games.

Worst: SatAM/Underground, Sonic 2006. I like to think Eggman was never really meant to be a serious villain, considering he's just Santa's evil twin. There's nothing wrong with making him genuinely intimidating (as seen in SA2 and Unleashed), but SatAM, Underground, and Sonic 2006 take it way too far. Even the whole Eggman Empire thing in Shadow the Hedgehog had that quirky twist to it.

I hate the idea of Eggman being some kind of soulless militaristic type villain who sucks all of the fun out of the world. That's the vibe I got from the way he was portrayed in 2006 and those two shows. Eggman to me is more like a Joker-type villain, he has his own crazy idea of what fun is, which usually involve other people's expense. Circus Park, Eggmanland, and Egg Planet Park (aka the amusement park from Colors) perfectly reflected his character to me. Crazy, twisted, evil, possibly deadly, and fun.

It's always nice to see little touches like Eggman puppets/statues/snowmen and juggling robots mixed in with heavy firearms and explosives. That's the Eggman I remember from the Genesis days.

My two favorite Eggmans were the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. To me, in SA2B he seemed to be very evil, and would stop at nothing to destroy Sonic and gain world supremacy. I actually hated him in Sonic Adventure 2, not becuase he was a weak character but becuase he was such a good antagonists. Antagonists are ment to be hated.
My other favorite Eggman is the one from Sonic 06, only becuase of his appearance.

Worst Doctor Eggman, in my opinion, would probably be his appearence in Riders. It seemed all meh. 2nd place for worst, Sonic Heroes. >.<

He was able to make a great plan to make the Death Egg soar again and he was incredibly persistent. Destroyed the DE in Sonic 2? Let's go build it again! Base destroyed? I'm still trying! Death Egg absolutely destroyed? I can still get away with the Emerald! He also didn't rely on a random monster.

Well he did seem to get his hands on a walkie talkie and get it shipped somewhere easily. Not really a fail safe, more like a back up.

To me, 06 Eggman was the worst. He was nothing like Eggman was supposed to be, minus his appearance (and that's really stretching it). With a name like Eggman, you expect a few essentric qualities. Here, though, you get none of that. This Eggman was dull, souless shell of a man.

My favorite Eggman... that's a tough one... it'd either have to be Eggman or Eggman, they're both so similar! Idk which to choose! I like the eggman in that one sonic game the best, because he was SO Eggman in that one!!!
