    Hm, I didn't play the new Crazy Taxi release, because I own the original on Dreamcast. Hm... I also own Jet Grind Radio on Dreamcast, though. Hm...

    They don't want to license music. But the JGR soundtrack is so a part of the game, it would be ridiculous to release it with any other soundtrack. I think Sega has the rights to alot of the songs on JGR as they contracted some of the music, if I'm not mistaken. Licensing music from groups such as Jurassic 5 shouldn't be too difficult, either. Knowing Chali Tuna(of Jurassic 5), he'd probably WANT his music in the game.
    This new Justin Timberlake album is good as hell. Fresh in my eardrum.

    The Crazy Taxi port in the Dreamcast Collection removed the Offspring and Bad Religion, replacing them with other songs.

    Much of the JSR soundtrack was done in-house, so I'm sure all of that would be kept, but there were some licensed tracks that are just as much a part of the game as those, and it would suck to see those removed.

    I'm afraid that some of those artists may be so obscure, that finding them to re-license their music may be almost impossible. I suppose with the right legal staff, anything is possible.

    But, the most obscure artists are probably songs that Sega has rights to. I'm thinking the only artist that may be left out is Rob Zombie. Maybe Cold, too. I'm not sure, but I think this game is more or less safe.

    Yeah, Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue 1&2 are the ones I want them to do this with the most. This is still excellent news though
    Signatures sucks, especially signature images. Which is why I have them off, so I never see the blasted things.

    You'd be surprised how much of the soundtrack is licensed. The Deavid Soul stuff, for example. This is just one song that may not make the cut;

    I hope I'm wrong.

    On the subject of Deavid Soul, I have the original, unedited versions of the songs used in Jet Grind Radio on my website.
