    As long as its balanced then all is fair game, look slike there are even more uncertainties over spirits/auras now than before! I am going to bat along with the theory that they are affected by skill level only at the moment as I see no evidence for other things such as cost altering it at the moment. I highly doubt intelligence will ONLY have an effect whn the skill is higher level, but I hope it will! Furthermore I wonder how they will treat Wisdom spirit, as its not only a difficult skill to learn it also affects intelligence which in turn affects the skill in S2 and version B

    Ok this sucks, i tested with sally, both lvl 3(speed 5, int 18, spent 2 points to speed rest to int), 1 only has base skill(demo power), 1 with wisdom aura and speed aura, sent seperately to lvl9 land 38 tiles away, both have the same travel speed 8;08 hours, btw im still version B FYI

    PAINFULL As long as they increase with skill level then the skills will balance out at least when more levelled!

    Hartayke, this was the thread I had posted a while back that caused TeK to post this one. I had essentially done exactly what you did a few posts ago. INT had no effect on Speed Aura or Speed Spirit.

    Auspie, demo power works fine in Ver B. I have quite a few R sally.
    Wisdom aura does nothing for to boost demo power nor speed aura - passive skills don't enhance passive skills. Just one speed aura and 2 point increment to int don't really do much to boost the speed. My R sally int is 200+, base speed 18 and it's reaching speed above 100.

    Hi Guys,
    I read this in the help menu (not verbatim): passives only apply to their corresponding stat, so wisdom aura's buff will not effect attack aura's buff and the effects of Wisdom aura will not effect the effects of Attack aura.
    I think that might explain why an int boost doesn't improve speed since auras and spirits, according to this, only effect their corresponding stats.

    No no, I think a couple of you guys may be getting a bit confused.

    1) It is already known that Auras & Spirits do not effect other auras & spirits. This is not the issue at hand.
    2) Auras and Spirits still do greatly increase your stats. They are not useless. (Bonehead, click on my link from post #35 in this thread)

    The problem is as follows. I did some testing (and Hartayke did similar testing to confirm). In this test, two mobs, one with Speed Spirit and one with Speed Aura, did not have any increase in speed when their INT stats were increased. Previously, the effect Spirits and Auras had was directly tied to both the target stat (eg Speed Aura is effected by your speed stat) AND your INT stat. Now it seems that it is effected by your speed stats alone and INT does not play a part. The reason this is such a huge deal is because last season you could pad your INT stats like crazy and get insane effects from your Auras & Spirits. Here is a really rough example to illustrate. Please bear in mind, I'm completely making the following numbers up.

    Game B
    Mob A has Speed Aura LV1
    Speed: 30 INT: 300
    Travel time for 50 distance: 2 minutes

    Game C
    Mob A has Speed Aura LV1
    Speed: 30 INT: 300
    Travel time for 50 distance: 24 minutes

    Probably the largest effect this is going to have is with high INT Demolition Power mobs. It was possible to get a SR Minotaur Commander to deal almost 1000 siege damage if you jacked up his INT stats like crazy (if you could manage to get Demolition Power on him). Now that his crazy INT increases don't have an effect, he's no more effective than any other mob. I hope this clears things up...
