please tell me some1 has exp. w/ xbox live account recovery!

alright, first off, sorry if i shouldn't have posted this here

I've been reading a bunch of FAQ's on it... and no where says yes or no...



do i need to have the Xbox live disc in order to use the account recovery feature?


(this is on a brand new xbox... that never used the xbox live feature, and never had any portion of it used, or even the disc inserted... )

i cant test it atm cuz my dsl is being used by my dad cuz he doesn't wanna take 2 seconds to switch to using the router that he stopped using like a :):):):):) cuz he says it slowed his connection down a bit...

if the xbox live account is on the original xbox, you can recover it, if youre using another xbox i dont think its gonna work. no matter what it says on the faq, you can recover your xbox live account, just get online into yur account and go to recovery and follow the needed steps.
