UK preorder offers?

I just wish Sega put it in the box so wherever you bought it, you got the same DLC as everyone else and didn't have to mess around!

I think that would have made a lot more people happy, in the face of GAME losing the DLC. I know a few people who went to other "big" retailers, their orders were dispatched, and then they found out about the Zavvi DLC. I don't know if they ended up buying a second copy from Zavvi so they could return their "first" copy and get the DLC, but I imagine they're not happy with having to jump through hoops for a game they preordered months ago.

Speaking for myself, I preordered mine as soon as it hit GAME. If I'd had to change that order to another retailer and then file a return for that time and order another copy from yet ANOTHER retailer and then wait for that one to arrive so I could finally play the game...... I'm pretty sure I'd be unhappy!

Hardly Sega's fault that GAME's having diffs I know, but some of the communication regarding the DLC arrived too late for my friends. Although Zavvi still list the DLC as a bonus they haven't reordered because obviously the game has been released and why return two copies to two retailers?

I only knew about Zavvi having the DLC because in light of the recent events with Game, particularly the Mass Effect 3 incident the week before DS was due out, I took the liberty to scope out all the other online retailers for a back up plan! I considered cancelling the Game order and reordering with Zavvi but figured lightening wouldn't strike twice with Game, but how wrong was I! Sadly Game can no longer be trusted with important pre orders and so somewhere else gets my business now.

I agree having to order multiple copies and send them back and mess around isn't ideal - again I'm forced to say all this hassle could be avoided if the DLC code was just in the box...

Interestingly (though perhaps not surprisingly) TheHut also offer the Densetsu DLC, but then they are Zavvi's parent company, but that wasn't mentioned in the Sega blog post before!

Did anyone else pre-order the game from Zavvi but received no DLC code..? I assume it comes in the form of an email?

Also this has been the biggest hassle I've ever had trying to buy a game, makes me wish SEGA had an online store that sold games & items other than Sonic merch.

I ordered from Zavvi too and didn't get a code. I called them on Saturday and they said they would get back to me. I got an email saying that they will be sending the codes today! If I don't get one today I'll be calling them tomorrow, suggest you guys do the same too!

Hopefully they will sort it out! They still advertise the DLC too. I noticed also there was a blog post they made about it, and a couple of people also commented how they never get anything, so hopefully it's just a slight delay that Zavvi will fix soon!

I didn't get around to calling Zavvi this morning but I did just get my code via email! Word of caution though, for some reason it went straight to my junk email box, despite all the usual Zavvi emails coming to my normal inbox! So make sure you check there if you are still missing yours!
