    Default Dreamcast or Mega Drive?

I'm debating getting a Dreamcast or a Mega Drive. Both hold the same level of attraction for me. Advice?

    Mega Drive.

    Dreamcast lasers can wear out.

Besides, the Mega Drive has a nice headphone port on the M1, has the Sonic classics, and has a bigger and better selection of games.

Not sure why you don't simply get both.
Plenty of good deals on Dreamcasts and Mega Drives on EBAY and other similar sites.
I've got two mint condition DCs and a Megadrive with all it's original boxing.
Get one and then another one, hell you might even get a taste for collecting them :P

Depends on what games you want to buy, sir.

I say get Dreamcast and then find some Genesis emulators on the high seas.

Or maybe buy Retrogen. I've wanted one of those for a while.

I love both so much. I sadly never bought the extra controller adapters for the Mega Drive so I think I have had more fun with the Dreamcast overall.

    Well, it's about 50-50. That doesn't help.
