that entire song is one big pun. it referenced everything. open your heart, live and learn, his world. shadow and even crush 40 themselves and sonic boom. seems like the perfect sonic generations... what if they do make a sonic generations DLC with this song as the theme song for the game and more levels.

The overall tune of Sonic Youth kind of reminds me of "I Am" from Shadow the Hedgehog.

Sonic Youth probably was going to be Gens' main theme but they didn't finish it on time.
And nope that title isn't confusing at all nopenopenope it's not like there's an actual band called Sonic Youth (and the feasibly of the other two as band names made me think it was going to be some mashup or something)
