i am playing the game on a laptop and it says the buttons for attacks are on the numpad.
my laptop doesnt have a numberkey pad.
is there anything i can do to change game controls?

When you get to the opening menu where you choose either story mode or online mode, go down to options. Under Key configuration you get the option for changing the keyboard settings, game pad settings and also a mouse control box. You should be able to make changes there that work for you. Make sure you hit Enter after making your changes
