Just registered myself here to say that I would love to see Virutal Fighter 5 on PC.

I own every CAPCOM fighting game on PC and would love to try out something new (a 3D fighting game). Besides that, since SEGA mentioned that they want to concentrate themselves more on the PC and mobile phone market I see no reason not to try to release it on PC and create some competition between CAPCOM's Street Fighter titles (and even the Skullgirls title which will be released in the next 2-3 months).

The PC market is big (thanks to Steam) and even the fighting community on PC is growing thanks to CAPCOM and the Skullgirls devs.

Also, since the game will only cost 15€ I expect some massive sales via Steam.

PLEASE SEGA, TRY IT OUT!

Considiring how small the VF communtiy (on PC nonetheless) I don't think it will be possible to reach 10s of the thousands of signatures.

I just hope SEGA will see there is demand... and the opportunity to release a 3D fighter on a platform that doesn't have any notable 3D fighters AFAIK.

P.S: This petition never really had good exposure... would someone with a NeoGAF account post it there?

They have Street Fighter IV, which I'd say does count as a notable 3D fighter That said, I still signed the petition, I think at its current price point it should be successful on Steam as well.

Street Fighter 4 and SFXT are 2.5d fighter, but definitely no 3D.

Do devs or guys from SEGA even visit the forums? A little bit sad to get no official response like in the NAMCO BANDAI forums in case of Dark Souls (which BTW get's a PC port now!). :/

I'm totally for a virtua fighter 5 FS port to PC. The fighting market is growing. When I play SSF4:AE there quite a few people I can pick to fight online.

Yeah, but I don't think SEGA community managers have any obligations to respond to these threads.
