No it's not? Lol. Any proof? Microsoft reported 33%, others guess it was closer to 50/60%. I don't wait to get my repaired. I buy a new one, send my broken one, play my new one for like, 2 weeks, and then through my fixed old one in the closet.

So what does that mean? The NES was popular even after the release of the Sega Genesis and the Genesis couldn't capture that market until Nintendo ended up killing the NES themselves. Super Nintendo was popular and was being played years after PlayStation was released, largely because many SNES owners went on to buy PlayStation. PS2 was a preferred system over PS3 probably up until 2008 or so. Some of the best systems stick around. It's unfortunate that these days, you know how people feel about the current generation when the HD re-release ends up becoming it's own genre.
