    Default SeGA Arcade IdeA CenTeR

I got a cool way to revitalize the Arcade communites... Here it goes

Sega could spend millions to set up thousands of Arcade Centers all over the US of A 50 States or 48 States ignore hawaii and alaska.

Staffed only by Sega workers and hired by Sega company.

there would be a variety of 50-100 Arcades per center and it is mandatory to update them monthly.

You won't have to burn off coins because it will only costs 15-20 dollars to enter the Arcade and play all day.

That would be a great move by Sega and Sammy to revive the Arcade Community.

Lol nice joke but in fact they CAN take this move by conquering the Pacfic States and Mountain States for testing grounds.

Good idea...But most people would probably just camp out at the "Derby Owner's Club" machines, since $15-$20 to race all day would be waaay too good to pass up. Ususally, it takes $15-20 just to play that game for an hour (and not even entering all the races)...Which makes it that much more likely that someone is going to release a home version, although Sega stubbornly refuses to do so, and steal the market away from our beloved company.

But sorry to hijack your post - I do think it'd be a good idea. Sega has enough quality games that they could stock a whole arcade with just their goods...

What about a joint project from SEGA and Namco?

that would sorta suck, if its "one time pay" everyone will be hogging up all the good games.

That might work, but I doubt Namco would be willing to do that.

A joint project does seem a bit possible. Since Sega and Namco worked together creating Triforce arcade hardware and games, if they really worked at it, I'm sure they could revive arcade gaming gradually.
