Default Episode II's Combo Moves Explained

The Submarine Combo allows players to overcome Sonic’s big weakness, his inability to swim. Tails can now pick up Sonic and swim through the water scuba style, meaning that Sonic now has a way to speed through the underwater parts of a level. Meaning that whilst you still need to collect those all-important air bubbles to stay alive, you’re in much less of a hurry thanks to Tails support

Interesting... Tails is a Yellow Submarine.

I think it's great, the flight combo is the only move rehashed from S3&K, the others are different and new, they are even hinting at more of them in the article. Can't wait to play this online.

It's a valid reason for Miles to give up his "dog paddle".

Sorry to you Sonic fans who hoped the hedgehog's underwater jump-swimming would catch on.

    Thanks for the links!

Hmm. I wonder how the two players "share" combination move duties? Do both players have full control during the rolling combo? Can Sonic do anything during the flight/swim sections other than jumping off?

In addition to this there’s also going to be other opportunities for collaborative play in the game – but we are not allowed to talk about them just yet!
REALLY? Now that's interesting. It's the first I've heard of collaboration, other than the rolling/flying/swimming.
