Digital Distribution is perfect for a company like Sega. Not only do they have an almost unrivaled backlog of awesome classics but they are one of the last companies to support the Arcade industry and so make a lot of games like Virtua Fighter and Border Break. Awesome games in their own right but as the industry as changed so much they are now considered niche.

Digital Distribution is perfect for both of these, not to mention newer, awesome games like Renedage Ops which would usually be burried amongst the fluff and over looked at retail have a platform to shine.

Yes, I'm totally for Digital Distribution.

I prefer that Sega uses its resources to port arcade games that were never ported to home consoles, or make perfect ports of games that did not have this chance in the past.

But Dreamcast, MegaDrive games ? Come on, you can buy these easily and a lot of those classics are not expensive at all. Others are too obscure and will never see a new releases.
Because there are those who want ease of access to play many of these older games.
    Currently awaiting......Whatever.

Problem is that they for the most part do, but given that the majority of these games are developed in Japan and a lot of SEGA fans are from the West, there's often misinterpretation by the developers.

After some searching, double-checking and compiling, I've managed to make a list of PlayStation 2 games either developed or published in Europe by Sega that I would like to see re-released digitally on PSN Store.

    Here they are:
    • Blood Will Tell
    • Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future
    • Galerians: Ash
    • Headhunter
    • Headhunter: Redemption
    • Lethal Skies Elite Pilot: Team SW
    • Lethal Skies II
    • Nightshade
    • OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast
    • Phantasy Star Universe
    • Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus
    • Rez
    • Sega Classics Collection
    • Sega Mega Drive Collection
    • Space Channel 5
    • Space Channel 5 Part 2
    • Spartan: Total Warrior
    • Spy Fiction
    • Super Monkey Ball Adventure
    • Super Monkey Ball Deluxe
    • Tenchu: Fatal Shadows
    • Virtua Cop: Elite Edition
    • Worms 3D
    • Worms Forts: Under Siege
    • Yakuza
    • Yakuza 2

I totally agree with you.. Seriously, it sucks buying digital releases especially if the PS3 dies possibly and there goes your precious game. You will have to spend lots of time to download it again, not to mention that bandwidth is limited. Its pitiful..

Not only does this need to be done on PSN and XBLA (Wii doesn't really matter as the MD catalog there is exhausted, Wii U should get Saturn games now instead), but the 3DS needs some more game gear love.

    Europe has only 5 games

NA only has the original 3 (They were going to get Sonic Blast and Labyrinth, but they vanished somehow.)
