System managed swapfile for the first question.

32-bit Windows limits your usable ram to 3.5GB for the second question. Fix it by going 64-bit.

Don't turn off virtual memory. That would make it worse.

yeah, Virtual memory helps manage your physical memory usage lol.

in this day in age, you have no reason to not use 64 bit. Almost all processors after 2005 have AMD64 or EM64T (Intel's 64 bit instruction set)

I remember 64 Bit being really loud on my PC.

I might upgrade in the future... FAR OFF future.

when you get a new PC you probably should, though if you get a pre built like a chud muffin it'll come with 64 bit on it most likely. unless you pay like 500 dollars for it lol

how does it make things worse turning it off it seems when its on it eats gigs off your hard drive and it doesnt give them back and then when it comes down to you not having anymore gigs means you cant install or play or do nothing and that stuff makes the hard drive run harder wich makes the disc inside it go bad faster and my dell 620 and my old dell 560 are both 64 bit they came with 64bit what pc doesnt now days 64bit is forced now when you buy any new pcs its my online dell dimensions thats the 32bit and has 4gb but says 3.37 usable and itsd a intel duo penteium d runs 2.80ghz and another 2.79ghz has 2 cores and 2 logical prosscessors and my offline is 2 cores and 4 logical and it has 6gb ram to back it up so again i dont see how it would make it worse if anything turning a hard drive into ram would run the pc harder
