I wonder if they're going to add more than one character for certain series like Smash Bros. did? I would love to play as side characters like Victor Sullivan.
Other than that, the only other first-party characters I'm waiting to see are Cole from inFamous (which is a given) and Kat from Gravity Rush. Kat would be awesome because she could use her stasis field to lift other players, and her special move could involve shifting the gravity of the entire stage.
In terms of third-party characters, admittedly I would totally love seeing Sonic and Rayman. Rayman's appearance and moveset would be based on Rayman Origins, and Sonic's would be based on his most recent games like Unleashed, Colors, and Generations.

Maybe. Its always fun to use cartoon-ish characters.
(I would like Tag, Will and Sackboy. We know realistic fighters like Cole will make it but the less deep, comical characters are nice too so bring on Ratchet, Jak by himself, Daxter by himself and Clank should just be paired with Clank)
