As much as I like debating with people who don't read and are more interested in generating an emotional response than actually conversing and learning something, it stops being fun months after you've already explained everything you wanted to say in clear detail and the opposing party is still trying to instigate with sarcasm and old memes. Just agree to disagree for once and quit prodding.

You know, some people have better things to do than have pointless arguments on the internet. Nobody wants to come to a forum where everything they say is met with hostility. Sometimes it's nice to just have a normal conversation.

Momentum's been there since Colors, and it's incredibly noticeable in Generations for both classic and modern gameplay.

The physics in colors are definitely somewhat momentum based.
For example, if you find a half pipe or something and run a long it, you'll end up going higher and higher.
And also, if you run fast enough and jump while you're running on inclined planes or ramps, you'll jump up a great distance, it feels so natural; just like in the genesis games.

That's a minor feature considering how few halfpipes there are in the game.

What do you mean?
You could do similar jumps in the classics and adventure games.
It maybe not natural, but it certainly feels liberating.

It's always nice that you can play around with the physics and do little tricks like this.

Sonic runs faster out of boost than he does in Adventure
Boost is exactly what it is, a boost.
Of course you'd slow down if you stopped.
You don't even boost that much in this game anyway so yeah



...I don't even think boost is required except for against Perfect Chaos
