Default Sega changing to focus on digital, including PC...

    Read here: http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/1...financials.php

Quote: "As a result, Sega says it is adapting its business to this social and smartphone gaming environment, while also focusing on digital PC games going into this fiscal year."

Please Sega, just bring these (at least) to PC digital download, they already exist on XBLA/PSN:
    After Burner Climax
    Daytona USA
    House of the Dead 4
    House of the Dead Overkill
    Sega Rally Online Arcade
    Virtua Fighter 5
    Virtual On Oratorio Tangram

I'd happily buy those at least, and I'm sure other people would too!

Also you could re-release existing rarer titles like Typing of the Dead digitally, and no doubt pick up some more sales...

Daytona especially on PC would be nice. The Model 2 emulator does not handle analog on controllers well (accelerate/brake in particular) and I'd rather have the game legitimately.

I'm hoping for Cyborg Justice on Steam myself.

As long as they don't abandon XBLA, I'm OK with this.

I hope they don't abandon anything. Some of us have reason not to trust them after they decided Outrun Online should be pulled.
So... AVP.... lack of funding for patch 5.... and yet, look at how ACM is turning out. How's that karma feel?

It's very smart for them to embrace steam..

It's as big if not bigger userbase than either psn or xbox live arcade.

So the potential for sales is huge. I'm just happy that the pc is going to get some love and not get ignored.

They didn't "decide" anything. Their license for the Ferrari cars and logos expired, that's all.

I'm totally okay with this. Hopefully it means more SEGA games for Android. I'll miss having a shiny box, disc, and manual to hold in my hands, but I'd rather have a fun gaming experience on a platform that's actually got something going for it.

With a great focus on digital I hope that means Virtual On and Guardian Heroes make it to PS3.
