i will sign even though i know it will not make any deference.
The guy that made Yakuza 4 & Dead Souls happen in the west is gone now. Don't expect any Yakuza games in the west from now on. Just being realistic.
i already signed it way back when its was first posted.
i think its too early to say for sure. Yas's departure although not good for yakuza franchise in general - doesn't necessarily mean that y5 won't come west at all.
by the time yakuza 5 gets launched in japan this december i expect that there will huge movement of fans mobilising for petitions/campaigns ect to get english release.
we just have to wait and see. i think its to early to start making definite pronouncements. but i agree it might not come west.
edit; i suppose we have been very lucky getting the last 2 yakuza titles west, so we don't want to become complacent. keep positive - which actually seems to be the general mood on these forums. heck - i'm still hopeful for kenzan - even though its very unlikely.

日本は素晴らしい国です。
"I am sad to leave the company, but I know I leave things in good hands. My colleagues will continue to bring Japan-developed SEGA games to the West with the love and care they deserve." - Yas
Yes as Shenmue3please has stated, it's too early to jump and give up on the idea now. But I also hope that we get a disc based release if it does come out in the west with Sega pushing digital more now.
If we demand it, it will come.If it'll make Sega money, it will come.

Pretty sure we'll get it, I signed it but I'm pretty positive that we'll get it. If they wanna cut back on costs just release it on PSN as a download only title... Saves money right there.
I believe the bumping petition is not enough.I think maybe Sega should put a Kickstarter(like Jane Jensen and others did)for the fans to finance the translation of any future Yakuza games including Kenzan and the HD collection. If every fan gives at least 5$ I think it would be enough to cover the costs.I really don't see any other way for us to get more Yakuza games if Sega is not willing because of the low sales in the west.
Guys are so negative, geez. lol
