I'm not a pro either, in fact, I got this game to have a fresh start at a new fighting game.
So I'm REALLY noob at this game. :P In fact, I think I've only won 2 out of 12 online battles so far.
At least combos aren't hard to learn, so I'm getting there. (Gotta love how a lot of people spam the ducking-jab, myself included when I'm in a pinch)
I hear ya. I got a copy of VF5 dirt cheap a few years ago and played it a bit. The only experience prior to that I had was when I was a kid I used to play VF2 I think in an arcade , but not a lot. So Honestly this is like my first real VF game as well.
Hehe , I've played a little over 125. Not bad for a guy who works a lot XD.
Combos are really easy in this game , the problem is people are just doing what I was saying. And the other sad part is there's virtually like no spacing to do bigger moves. Like the time it takes for the opponent to cover you , you can have your move interrupted in the blink of an eye. I play Wolf and granted I know he's one of the more slower , power guys. It's a pain in the butt to basically get down some simple half circle stuff without getting owned.
I think I may make a list of things I'd like to see in the next game. I'm so used to fighting games now I'm already seeing what should be looked at for the next one.
you gotta launch or bounce people off the floor if you wanna land big moves
