I'm still confused as to what will happen during Season 3 for this final cycle. Being that the closing date (June 29) will be on the sixth day of Season 3 in 101 and the third day of Season 3 in 102, my gut feeling unfortunately is that MLBMO will simply shut down midseason, which would make that Season 3 a complete waste.
With this being said, does anyone happen to know what will happen for Season 3? I'm gonna go about Season 2 as if this is it. If they can't play out Season 3 in its entirety, they should just cancel Season 3 and have like a free-for-all set of all-day daily tournaments for the very final days. What MLBMO is doing (or should I say, isn't doing) makes absolutely no sense. Why should we spend hours setting up teams for Season 3 when the game itself will close halfway through?
Its because their contract with MLBPA and MLB runs out on that date, same reason we are losing player images on 15th. I wouldnt be surprised if it all ends in the middle of a season.
