.....I just bought the DS version for about 10$ around a month ago.
I bought the DS Version YEARS ago! I think it might as well be the Final Fantasy III that we could've gotten for PSP, meaning you begin as FOUR Onion Knights, and you can NAME them whatever you want, even if you want to call the leader "Derpy!" And the best thing about it, is that you don't have to do Mognet, just to get Side Quests unlocked!
Or this could just be the EXACT same game as the DS Version, and they might add in voices to make the experience a bit more enlightening. Still, look on the bright side, at least with the PSP Version, I can play it on the TV.

It is a port of the DS game that was ported to the iOS. I don't think they added voices to the iOS version so...

IIRC, the next remakes in line are FF5 and FF6. Square also stated they were going to do it on the DS but wanted to wait for a more powerful handheld.

I had not though about that one but it would be pretty nice.
I personally was talking about the already announced Persona 4.
I'd get FFVII on Vita or FFX, but that's about it.
