Densetsu DLC

I am new to the forum. I am a huge Yakuza/龍が如く fan, and I am experiencing an issue that I recall having with Yakuza 4, but did not understand, or realise.

I bought Yakuza: Dead Souls from Play-Asia in Hong Kong. However, I live in South Africa and my PSN account is registered as such. I have managed to successfully download the Densetsu DLC (the Patriot pack is, for some reason, not available...), and it claims to have installed, but the game does not seem to indicate as such. Is there an incompatibility with my game version and the DLC on the PSN store?

I would sincerely appreciate any light shed on the topic

Yes, I believe you need a south african copy of the game, I have japanese dlc for Way of the Samurai 3 that won't work with my american copy.

I had a feeling that that would be the case. I suppose I will have to live without the DLC for now, then...

Make a Hong Kong account on your PS3 and download the pack from the Hong Kong PS Store. Then log in to your original account and play (don't delete the HK account from your PS3).
