My dad isn't tech savvy, so everybody would yell at me for buying a gift that would eventually be used more by me.
Just play what you want and don't let others get in the way of that. Even if you are looking forward to that One in particular, I'm just not gonna touch it anytime soon.
And this is why Microsoft sucks. Stop trying to aim your products at demographics that shouldn't be playing with that.

my dad bought and xbox with kinect half a year ago, along with dance games (because theyre "good exercise" -which they are).
hasnt even connected it because he doesnt know how.
sega does what nintendon't.... which is FAILING COLLOSSALY AND DYING
My dad's 61, he already plays computer games, and he told me himself he doesn't want to learn another controller.
