The FF13-2 DLC sucks!

I love FF13-2. Everything about is awesome: the graphics, the exploration, the characters, the story, even the music (yes, even the rap; it was good enough for Persona 3, right?). But the DLC sucks. I don't mind all the extra costumes and useless weapons and stuff, and even the DLC battles don't bother me, but I expected more from the extra Lightning story DLC besides just a battle against Caius. It doesn't even explain anything. Even the Sazh one was better (I liked the Chrono bird game). If they plan to release more DLC, I won't be so quick to buy it (but I probably will because, as I said, i love the game).

Next time watch dlc reviews that's how I avoided the first Castlevania dlc. :S

Turns out there's a second battle after the first, and after you beat that, there's actually some story. Still not much, but it's not as sucky as I thought, and to be honest, it was pretty cool playing as Lightning.

People assumed the DLC would alter the ending... the ending was never going to change. Like ME3 it was more about expanding on the conclussion instead of outright altering it. That is why people got on board the hype train when they should not have and invested too much faith in the DLC being something it was never going to be.

Personally i didnt mind the DLC additional content overall outside of the Sazh cash grab (they announced the casino games were DLC on the disc itself and given the games were all that came with the DLC outside Sazh i was dissapointed). The Arena battles did what they said on the tin and yeah new weapons were great for those playing from the start but overall there was nothing too substancial and must have, especially as all those kick monsters are late game additions anyway as you actually have to be well leveled to even beat them never mind get lucky enough to obtain their crystal for usage in the party.
